You Bring:

  • Relevant Diploma/Degree in Information Technology.
  • 2–3 years of experience as a Systems Engineer.
  • 18 months of experience writing scripts.
  • Working experience with Asterisk and Avaya Enterprise VoIP services.
  • Extensive experience/exposure and knowledge of IP networking and protocols.
  • Writing queries in MSSQL 2012+ using SSMS.
  • Scripting using Perl, TCL language, Python.
  • Internationally recognised Microsoft Qualification.
  • Linux+ or equivalent course (advantageous).
  • Microsoft Office 365 (advantageous).
  • Microsoft Exchange (advantageous).
  • Microsoft SharePoint (advantageous).
  • Microsoft Server (advantageous).
  • Microsoft Azure (advantageous).

What You’ll Do:

Technical Output

  • Administer Windows/Linux network, servers, desktops, and laptops.
  • Maintain Windows Server, Group Policy, Active Directory, and Exchange.
  • Manage software installations and Office 365 SaaS environment.
  • Oversee Microsoft Azure AD and subscriptions.
  • Recommend Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity solutions.
  • Install patches, updates, and service packs as required.
  • Set up and manage NMS systems (e.g., Nagios, NetFlow, Cacti).
  • Maintain and troubleshoot CCTV solutions.
  • Administer enterprise IP networks in mission-critical, 24x7 environments.
  • Conduct research on networking issues and products.
  • Ensure SharePoint Online environment health.
  • Support MS Office O365 and configure for staff.
  • Maintain customer sub-sites and Microsoft Exchange infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot Office 365 and Exchange-related issues.
  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for hardware and software.
  • Troubleshoot OS, network, and storage issues.
  • Handle operational security, maintenance, and governance.
  • Perform software upgrades and patches (BIOS, firmware).
  • Assist with Microsoft SAM audit and backup solutions.
